Description of Services:
Short term staffing to provide assistance in processing financial claims for a variety of programs.
Duties:
 Verify and analyze data to ensure claims are valid and processed according to Departmental
practices and procedures.
 Selecting, validating and inputting information in the database system.
 Performing document and file management functions, including e –filing.
 Researching and analyzing financial data.
 Maintaining and updating a financial management system.
 Conducting inquiries or research to resolve claim submission issues and reconciling
financial accounts.
 Other duties may be required as defined by Department

Skills and competences:
 Strong ability to analyse, verify and process data.
 Strong computer literacy, and comfort with database systems including excel.
 Highly organized with an ability to create systems for filing and maintaining records
 Excellent communication (oral and written) and customer service skills.
 Federal Reliability Status/Government experience
 Financial literacy/ability to reconcile financial accounts
 Ability to work independently and in a team environment
 Ability to work overtime on short notice
 Strong attention to detail
 Flexibility to take on other tasks as needed and defined by management
