Senior Procurement Specialist

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT OF CANADA PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE and a current Government of Canada security clearance.

Duties include:

Reviewing procurement strategies for the procurement of goods, services or Professional Services;

2.3.2          Preparing procurement related documentation for procurement and contracting related activities, including but not limited to procurement plans and risk assessments;

2.3.3          Preparing complex types of procurement related documentation, including Supply Arrangements (SAs), Requests for Standing Offers (RFSOs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the procurement of goods, services or Professional Services;

2.3.4          Reviewing, analyzing and validating Statements of Work (SOWs) and bid evaluation documentation for completeness, adherence to procurement regulations for the procurement of goods, services or Professional Services, and making appropriate recommendations;

2.3.5          Reviewing, analyzing and validating procurement and contract files for completeness, adherence to procurement regulations and staffing protocols prior to file authority review, and making appropriate recommendations while maintaining document version control;

2.3.6          Administering and coordinating bid evaluations;

2.3.7          Maintaining electronic library of work in progress, delivered items and reviewed comments, and performing version control;

2.3.8          Maintaining dialogue with the CA and PA of procurement files throughout the duration of the procurement process, keeping the CA and PA apprised and providing status reports upon request; and

2.3.9          Responding to questions and answers from the TA of procurement files relevant to applicable procurement files.
